Thousands of people visit the Great Bend Sports Complex each year, and consistent weekend baseball and softball tournaments throughout the summer are underway. In between games, patrons are often looking for places to eat, shop and kill some time.
Great Bend Assistant City Administrator Logan Burns said advertising options are still available at the ballfields.
"We have several different options whether you choose Field 1, Field 2 or both fields," said Burns. "We have a couple of entrance options as well. If someone is interested, they can contact City Hall."
Between field one and field two, Great Bend has approximately 12 sponsors currently on display at the complex. Field 1, the baseball field, started with 4' x 8' displays along the outfield fence. To improve the visibility, the city changed the banners’ dimensions to 6' x 12'.
"Once they fill that application out, we would then ask for them to send us their logo," said Burns. "We send that out to Mark's Custom Signs and they'll take care of us and put up the banner."
