On March 3, 2024 and April 26, 2024, the Great Bend Police Department received two separate burglaries during which electronic items had been stolen from a residence in Great Bend while the resident was not home.
Detectives investigated the case information and were able to confirm the location of the stolen items. On May 2, a search warrant was served at 1823 Adams Street in Great Bend and the stolen items were recovered. Nicholas Richter was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail for two counts of burglary. The bond was set at $40,000.
