Any retail business knows the importance of changing with the seasons. Products displayed and available to sell need to reflect the demand of the time period. In order to showcase new items, stores need to sell or get rid of their current inventory.
Great Bend Community Coordinator said the local retail group will be hosting a special training on markdowns and how to best clearance your inventory.
"If any business in Great Bend are interested in being part of the training they can do that for free," said Hayes. "They just need to contact me and let me know they'd like to be part of that."
The training will provide help and tips on how to keep your market fresh and best practices on clearance items. The course in Great Bend will take place on June 14.
