The City of Stafford will have a couple of dates for community cleanup.
May 3 - The city will have the first of five large roll-off dumpsters set across from the power plant on South Boston, for city residents only. Once these have been used, we will not have them back until next year.
May 13 - Stafford staff will pick up limbs and brush by request only. Limbs and brush need to be in the front of the property, parallel to the curb for pickup. You must call into the city office by 5 p.m. on May 10 to be put on the list.
As a reminder, if you have items that you are wanting to give away for free, do not put them along the curb and assume they will be picked up. If it is an item you are trying to give away, post them for free if you would like and then keep them by your house until picked up.
If you have larger items that need thrown away throughout the year, there is no need to store them. The city always has smaller dumpsters available across from the power plant, year round, and they can be utilized for most larger items.
