CRAWFORD COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30a.m. Friday in Crawford County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, law enforcement was conducting an investigation with emergency lights on at Kansas 126 one half mile west of U.S. 69.
A 2013 Chevy Silverado driven by Austin Leonard Lallemand, 25, Walnut, was westbound on K126 and struck a 2020 Dodge Durango driven by Raven Dawn Edwards, 20, Pittsburg and a 2023 Ford F150 driven by Josh J. Myers, 45, Columbus, and fled the scene westbound.
Edwards was treated at Girard Medical Center for a minor injury.
Myers and Lallemand were not injured. The KHP did not report possible charges Lallemand would face.
