WARREN COUNTY —Conservation Agent Ashton Crance recently rescued an eagle found with a broken wing in rural Warren County, according to a social media report from the Missouri Department of Conservation.
The bird was likely hit by a car while scavenging a roadkill opossum.
Officials with the World Bird Sanctuary are caring for the eagle and it's expected to make a full recovery.
