A slow moving cold front will move south over South Central Kansas this afternoon before slowing some this evening. Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop along and ahead of the front across South Central and Southeast Kansas this afternoon and evening. The primary threats will be large hail and damaging winds...however a brief tornado cannot be ruled out across Southeast Kansas. As we move into the evening and overnight hours...damaging winds and locally heavy rain will become the primary threats.
